A Dear Friend Returns 2-27

STFU 174Every now and again a situation presents itself and magic happens. This isn’t one of those times. BUT Rick is joined by original STFU C0-host jessica drake, and she breaks away from her busy schedule to Skype a show. And because it’s Skype, the sound is less than perfect, and the call was dropped, and the video slowed down the connection and…I could go on, but why not just listen? Rick and jessica talk about the Oscars, meaning the awards show and the Olympic runner who shot his girlfriend. They also chat up Adele, Chris Dorner, and Rick presents his new “Assistant”, who is also named jessica drake. Great fun! STFU 174

Praising Dr. Drew…Sort Of

drewpinskyRick begins the show tackling the recent suicide of Mindy McCready. It’s not so much her story as it is the media’s crucifixion of Dr. Drew Pinsky. McCready was on Dr. Drew’s show Celebrity Rehab over 4 years ago! Yet the lunatic fringe has decided that her suicide is somehow a reflection on his limited treatment of her. That McCready was on the show for a different illness is totally beside the point. The good Dr. is not without criticism however, though it relates to setting yourself up for future blame from the media by having a reality show. Rick also has a take on Octomom’s recent stripper engagement in FL (click here for pictures), and also has a few words for the psycho killers and the police who saved the taxpayers millions of dollars by removing them from future breaths of air. Gaga, The Doctor’s Office, And Neil Diamond

neildiamondI give a dissection of the Lady Gaga concert in this new STFU Show. By the way, since I’m typing this, I’m not gonna be a douche and refer to myself in the third person…you’re welcome. Later I have a problem or two with a visit to the doctor’s office, celebrities with Twitter accounts for their pets (I am soooo sorry Kylie/Andy), and I’m trapped in my own head as I overhear a moronic conversation at Starbucks. The show finishes with a parody of the Neil Diamond classic Love On The Rocks. Note: It’s probably the only song in history which ends with the word “bum”. Enjoy! STFU 171
